This wacky Punk Globe wall light is designed and manufactured in the UK at our Hertfordshire-based factory, where each fitting is lovingly handcrafted by our team of master craftspeople. Every fitting is made up of an individually mould-blown prismatic glass globe to achieve a uniformed look, metal components cast from solid brass for durability and a distinctive real rust finish. Our real rust finish is an organic, five point process that starts with applying primer to the surface of the fitting. Our specially formulated base coat with iron filings mixed throughout is then applied and baked. After this, the fitting will be sanded, releasing the metal filings out of the paint and lastly, it'll be sprayed with our patina solution where nature is left to take its course. Due to this naturally occurring process, the finish will differ slightly, making each and every fitting completely original and unique. All of our fittings are individually assembled and tested, subject to a strict quality control system that ensures our lights meet or exceed CE Standards and BSEN 60598-1:2008.
