Bold and original screen prints: Hand printed, organic and fair.
Born out of a love of vintage screen printed designs, a commitment to ethical clothing, and too many creative ideas, Anna Brindle started printing t-shirts for friends and family from her garage studio and gradually created the Lost Shapes clothing brand.
Every print starts as a hand drawn, hand cut stencil which is screen printed by Anna in the Lost Shapes studio, creating shapes and silhouettes with real warmth and impact. Water-based ink with intense pigments means the prints really sink into the fabric, giving a depth that isn't found in most mass-produced gear, with no peeling or shiny plastic. Garments are carefully chosen from fair wear certified producers - most are from the Earth Positive range of 100% organic, 90% reduced CO2 tops, or the Salvage range of sweatshirts and t-shirts made from recycled organic cotton and recycled polyester. Every new product is thoroughly tested for comfort and durability in the best possible way - lots of heavy duty wear and wash from the Lost Shapes family and friends!
Lost Shapes is strongly anti fast-fashion. They believe that a good design is a good design this season, next season and the one after, so they don't ride trends (though they might just start them!) and they don't produce seasonal collections that become obsolete in a month or two. They're proud to see people loving and wearing their Lost Shapes tops season after season after season.
