About JPC Mirrors
Our aim is to provide beautiful mirrors for every interior style.
At JPC Mirrors we cut all of the glass used by hand to shape, cut the backboard to the required shape and paint the backboard by hand, your mirror is made by hand, from start to finish including packaging.
We are a relatively new business and started making mirrors in 2015 following a longer career in carpentry. With over 6 years of experience in cutting glass and lead work along with 10+ years of carpentry work.
We always enjoy learning about interior design especially the art deco era and modern/contemporary art. Combining all of our skills and interests we have been able to put together a very unique and interesting range of contemporary mirrors.
All of our mirrors are designed by hand using sketches in a book and then we go through the process of creating the mirror by hand in our studio. We have many designs that are yet to be made, so our range of mirrors is forever growing.
Terms & Conditions
Returns
Returns - We have a 28-day return policy, which means you have 28 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging or in suitable replacement packaging.
Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Damages / Issues - Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately (24 hours) if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If your mirror has arrived damaged, we will require pictures. We will then offer you a refund or make and send you out another mirror.
Exceptions / Non-returnable - Certain types of items cannot be returned, bespoke/custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Bespoke/custom mirrors can not be returned.
Refunds - We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If your mirror arrives back to us damaged we can not accept the return, which means we can not refund you.
Please note, if you return your mirror back to us and it, unfortunately, gets damaged in transit, we will not be able to refund you.
Delivery
When lifting your mirror out of the packaging and also when hanging your mirror on your intended wall, please avoid direct contact with the colored lead, as this could mark, scratch, or even discolor the lead. Once you have taken your mirror out of the packaging please lay it down on a flat surface and do not store it upright prior to hanging. If the mirror is not going to be hung straight away (as above) please keep it on a flat surface until it is hung on the wall. Please ensure the wall you intend to hang your mirror on is flat, the wooden back of your mirror is flat and an uneven wall could, over time, cause your mirror to bow/twist which could result in your mirror being damaged. JPC Mirrors are only suitable to be hung indoors. Only use the fixing brackets supplied with the mirror to hang the mirror. Do not adjust the brackets or add anything to the hangers such as rope or chain as this could cause the wood to twist/bow which would result in the mirror being damaged. Each mirror is supplied with either two heavy-duty hangers or two keyhole fixings depending on the shape and size of the mirror. Our smallest mirrors will only have 1 keyhole fixing per mirror. Larger or bespoke mirrors may have different fixings than stated above. When cleaning your mirror, please spray the cleaner onto a soft rag and not directly onto the mirror. Gently clean the mirror, be careful not to go over the top of the lead finish as this could result in the lead finish being scratched/marked and/or discolored as this is a natural material.
