When the need for some safe storage in a friends home came up, they decided that they did not want a big ugly safe that told the world 'here are our valuables'. I was building some fitted wardrobes in their bedroom at the time and came up with the idea of incorporating some hidden compartments within the wardrobes.

On completion of the project, I asked my friends if they could find some of the bits and pieces that had been duly placed within the hidden compartments. They failed to find any of the hidden compartments even although they knew they were fitted within the bedroom furniture. When they gave in, I showed them the hidden compartments and how to access them – they were delighted with the result. Little did I know at the time that the seeds had been sown for Concealment Furniture Ltd'.

Concealment Furniture is a small, family run business based in the West of Scotland. We design and manufacture furniture with ‘Secret Compartments’. We only use the best quality hardwoods to build our furniture. We set out on a mission to design and create handmade furniture that not only looks beautiful in your home, but can also hide your valuables in plain sight.

Each piece is made to order and given the attention to detail that only a small independent shop can render. Because we make each piece of furniture, one at a time, it gives us greater flexibility regarding custom requests.
