Little Lana 2 Fold Wool Pillow 60cm x 40cm

Devon Duvets

Product Information

When your child reaches an age where you feel a pillow is needed, it is important to ensure that the pillow chosen is natural and does not have too much height. Our 2 Fold, Patented Folding pillow is of a low height and we recommend this height for children so that pressure is not placed onto their neck and spine.

This pillow is handcrafted by our seamstresses in our workshop in England using 100% British platinum grade wool. The wool is cleaned in British mills to Devon Duvets own specifications to meet the high quality required for our products - we do not use bleaches or chemicals. The cotton casing is a lovely 260 thread count cotton woven especially for Devon Duvets.

Natural wool is hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant making it a wonderful material to suppport your child's delicate and developing breathing organs. It can also help to reduce the symptoms of asthma or allergies that are often aggravated by dust mies and their droppings.

Wool can also reduce skin allergies and wicks away moisture and heat so that the head and neck areas are kept cooler and more comfortable.

Easy to care for, unfold and air out any moisture build up and when a deeper clean is needed, simply unfold and machine wash on a wool setting, use a wool care detergent, spin out excess water and air dry.

Unfolded, this pillow can also be used as a small travel or lap blanket (See photograph showing the pillow unfolded)

SAFETY ADVICE - We strongly advise that you monitor your child's temperature and not allow your child to become overheated. Although wool can assist in temperature regulation, parental supervision is always required for young children. Pillows are not recommended for children under 2 years of age.

About the Supplier

Husband and wife team Dick and Pauline Beijen bought their flocks of sheep during the summer of 2008 as the first step into their idea of creating high quality, natural British wool duvets; the challenge being to develop a high quality duvet that draped and behaved as a duvet should. The original wool duvet.

After more than a year of development work, the latter part of which was filmed by Channel 4 with Monty Don in his series 'My Dream Farm', Devon Duvets was born.

Care & Maintenance

To keep your wool duvet clean and allow the duvet to breathe and wick away moisture, we advise you to use a duvet cover that is a 100% natural fibre.

Regular Care - We recommend that you regularly air your wool duvet to keep it fresh, hanging over a bannister or clothes rail in between bedding changes. On a sunny, breezy day we recommend that you hang your duvet outside to allow the natural antibacterial properties of wool to refresh and keep your duvet in first class condition.

Deeper Clean - If a deeper clean does become necessary, even though the wool in our duvets has NOT been chemically treated, all of our wool duvets can be machine washed on a wool setting using a detergent that is kind to natural fibres (wool care). Spin dry well to release any excess water as wool that is saturated will not dry well. The quality of our British Platinum grade wool and the unique construction of our duvets means that chemical treatment is not necessary to make them machine washable (with care of course) after all, sheep have been getting wet since there has been rain!

Drying - air dry only. You cannot apply heat or tumble dry our wool duvets and wool pillows as the wool has not been coated with the chemicals needed to make this possible but you can hang them out to air dry.
