What is Made to Last?

Made to Last is a retail business that only sells British made products that have been made to last a long time and that have a high utility value.

The most important part of that to us is the lasting a long time. Of course, this is relative to the kind of product that you make.

Made to Last was borne through us becoming aware of the unsustainable level of consumerism that we have all become accustomed to.

People have been trained to expect short life spans from products and to keep buying.

We plan to do things very differently and as you are reading this it is likely that you are already one step ahead of us.

How does the business work?


We are a solely online business whose goal is to increase the sales of high quality British products that support sustainable living.


We list and sell your products on our website and also take care of all of the customer service issues that may result from a sale.


After a customer places an order for one of your products we will send you the details of the order and the customer so that you can ship directly to the customer or if you prefer we can collect the product from you and deliver to the customer. You then invoice us directly.


If the customer experiences issues then we will work together to resolve them.

What Products are sold on Made to Last?

We work with British companies that wherever possible manufacture here in the British Isles (including ROI) and who have a passion for creating products that people use on a regular basis and that stand the test of time. We do also sell some products that are manufactured overseas as long as we can confirm both the quality of the materials used as well as the welfare of the people making the products. 

Our suppliers are proud to guarantee the life span of their products as they know that they have put the time and effort into creating something special.

Why become a Made to Last supplier?

We are passionate about promoting all of our partners products with the aim of them growing their businesses in line with us.

Equality and fairness are key here – we need a relationship that works for both sides so we take time to discuss the various ways of working and come to an agreement that is scalable.

If you partner with Made to Last then we will put great effort into selling your products and we always pay invoices to suppliers within 1 week of receiving them.

The Founders of the business are from a marketing background so are experienced in selling on the web.

Your brand will be prominent on our website and it will be very clear that all of your products are made by you – we will put your logo on all of your product pages.
