The Denton Gamekeeper is modeled on the traditional style of game bag, as seen being carried on many TV shows by stars such as Michael Palin and Michael Portillo.
This version is a limited edition Tweed. Made from woolen tweed fabric woven in Great Britain and laminated to a cotton backing fabric utilizing a rubber membrane to make it completely waterproof, then trimmed with veg tanned bridle shoulder leather.
Lovingly handmade by high end craftsmen and women, in our Lincolnshire England workshop, without compromise, and guided by traditional values. The fittings are all made from brass. It has all been put together using a heavy gauge core spun poly/cotton thread, which has the luxury feel of cotton while maintaining the strength of the polyester. The shoulder strap is fully adjustable and is made from heavy cotton webbing 38 cm wide. The two fastenings on the front are leather that attach to brass collar studs for easy access and fit with buckles for adjustment of the flap closure.
Two external pocket’s on the front, and a leather patch on the front of the flap for the collar stud’s which has our signature, to the many who know, a sign of pure quality! All of this and then you open the bag to be taken aback by the internal luxury of a heavy cotton maroon lining and two flat patch pockets.
ABREPTION was started in September 1996 by Cynthia and Paul Johnson. Both had previously been employed by a Luggage/Bag manufacturer for some years. Building on the skills acquired, a customer base was quickly established. Abreption became known by word of mouth and the client base has kept growing ever since.
A large part of Abreption’s USP is the ability to produce from a base starting point or to take on CMT work from sample to production. Quality and service is the key philosophy of Abreption.
