490 LED desk lamp

490 is a compact, elegant desk lamp that utilises the latest in LED technology to create a highly functional and energy efficient luminaire. The clean, simple form has grown from a desire to strip the desk lamp back to its very essence, keeping the components and manufacturing processes to an absolute minimum to reduce its environmental footprint.

The lamp uses a highly efficient 3W LED, producing around 240 lumens (similar to a 12V 20W halogen capsule) of warm, glare-free light combined with a three-stage touch-controlled dimmer.

Laser-cut from 1.5mm steel sheet, the lamp body is formed from just four 90° folds and powder-coated for a durable finish. The fabric cable in red or silver adds a tactile contrast to the sharp lines of the body. All parts are easily disassembled at end of life for recycling or refurbishment.
